Cold? Yes. Crazy? Yes. Something I will never forget? Yes.

Exactly 3 years ago, I was a part of a pilot episode for a TV show. I still have no idea what the show was about. The pilot episode involved me and a group of other half naked teenagers running around central Stockholm in the freezing cold.
It was basically a massive flashmob (if you don’t know what that is – google it)
Looking at the video now, I agree that it looks ridiculous.
If you think running around in the city was insane, what we did after was even crazier.
You know that fun event people usually participate in when it’s hot outside? “Going Swimming” I believe it’s called. We did this. In a lake. A mostly frozen lake.

Queueing in line to torture ourselves. Kind of.
Afterwards, we all warmed up in a bastu (For all you non-vikings; this is called a sauna). We were also given free blankets and Mars bars on our free bus ride home. How sweet was that?? I think we also got paid a tiny bit for participating… LUXURY.
All in all, this day was something I will never forget. I find this fact super cool! Imagine if I had chosen to stay home instead, it would have just been any other Winter day.
So, whoever is reading this..:
Step out of your comfort zones.
Jump in to a frozen lake. Participate in a flashmob. Eat a Mars bar. Unless you are an unfortunate sufferer of amnesia, you will still remember that one day several years later.
By the way, the show never made it to the air. Hehe.
I’ve wanted to do the frozen lake thing for agggges!!!! awesome
It’s sooo much fun! An experience for life.
