Surf, sickness, and sun are what my last few weeks have consisted of.
I am currently in kuta Bali, and it is exactly how I thought it would be – crouded, touristy, loud and messy. However, since I knew it would be like this before I got here, I actually don’t mind it at all. In fact, it is a bit of a nice change.
I have been getting a lot of attention from the local boys wherever i go. being young, white, and a woman seems to be the top combo when it comes to their definition of a dream girl. Here, though, there are so many tourists that the locals don’t seem to care – they only want your money. I am fine with that.
So what have I been up to? Checkpoint list time.
- saw a cockfight in Amed, Bali
-went scuba diving in Amed, Bali.
- saw one of the most beautiful beaches of my life at gili trawangan
- been eating delicious street food that also got me sick for a week.
- met up with swedish people
- drove my own scooter around kuta, Lombok . And didn’t crash once.
I am also on my way to fitness thanks to surfing. It is such hard work, very fun though.
And as for my Indonesian?..

The plan now is to chill, surf and party for four more days in kuta, then I’ll go somewhere more quiet for a bit of diving.
